Alex Ferdman

A graduate of the MIT Media Lab, Mr. Ferdman served as CEO at Zebra Imaging from its inception in 1996 until 2001.  During Mr. Ferdman’s tenure, Zebra Imaging raised $14MM from strategic investors including Ford Motor Company, DuPont, and Convergent Investors; filed several patents; and was profiled internationally in over 30 publications including The Economist, Wired, Investor’s Daily, Le Monde, and Popular Mechanics. Zebra customers included Ford, Samsung, Walt Disney, Siemens, DuPont, and the US Air Force in marketing applications. During these years Zebra developed the world’s largest full color holographic image for Ford. Ferdman also brokered a deal with the City of Austin, Samsung and Frog Design to permanently display an even larger holographic installation at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. In 2001, Zebra’s board of directors decided to change the company’s strategic focus. At that time, a new CEO was hired to take the company to its next level. Since 2001, Mr. Ferdman has been involved with project management and investment of various construction and real estate projects.
